Millionaire Lip Treatment & Lip Butter Scrub | Review

Who knew that a scrub and lip butter could change your lips forever?

You know how much my heart sings for the Millionaire range. I’ve interviewed Jas the owner for the Business in the Spotlight feature I do featuring awesome Muslim owned or Muslim catering businesses, so when she sent me her new innovation the Millionaire Lip Treatment & Lip Butter Scrub when they first launched in January.

I’ll be honest, I was sceptical.

Far from being a blind fangirl, I’ve tried everything to get my dry, cracked lips to resemble something a human woman is attached to.

I’ve tried everything from homemade concoctions to products from Lush, The Body Shop and many more and I have to say I wasn’t expecting much.

I got the products in January but as you know it takes me at least 3 – 6 months to give an honest review whether I was sent the products or if I bought them myself.

You, my friends, are spending money on an organic, high-end brand so you deserve to know does it live up to the hype?

Millionaire Peptide Lip Scrub and Lip Butter from Millionaire Hair Mist

What is the Millionaire Peptide Lip Range?

The delicate skin on lips require more than just a lip balm to keep them in the best condition possible.

Our Conditioning Lip Butter Scrub has been designed to protect and soften the lips naturally, whilst at the same time, help to gently give lips a more smooth and crack free appearance.  Our lip butter scrub is a cream based product containing gentle exfoliants and lip loving ingredients and hyaluronic acid to bring lips back to their natural youthful appearance.

Our Conditioning Lip treatment Cream has been designed to protect and soften the lips naturally, whilst at the same time, help to gently give lips a more plumped and fuller appearance.  Created in the same way as our moisturisers, our lip butter is a cream based product containing lip loving ingredients and hyaluronic acid to bring lips back to their natural youthful appearance.

(it may be little drying on the lips at the beginning, bear with it, you will have lips that feel soft from the inside. There really is no other way to describe it. Use as little and as often as you need to.)

WHAT DOES IT DO?

Millionaire Lip Butter Scrub

The Millionaire Lip Butter Scrub is a gentle exfoliator to help get rid of dead skin cells and hydrate your lips at the same time.

It’s not at all harsh like most lip scrubs and over time can help with the pigmentation on the lips if used consistently.

The Millionaire Lip & Eye Treatment is a gentle lip butter that is gentle enough to use around the eye area to brighten and bring moisture back to the skin with the Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid to plump up the skin.

For lips, the Avocado Butter, Cocoa Butter, Jojoba Butter and Organic Coconut oil deeply moisturise and along with the Hyaluronic Acid plump up and retain moisture back into the lips.

As I explained in the Business in the Spotlight feature where I reviewed the Peptide Pro products, Hyaluronic Acid holds 1,000 times its weight in moisture making it the number one anti-ageing ingredient.

It does not leave the lips feeling sticky and can be used as a lip butter or lip mask when getting ready.

This is perfect to apply before drying matte liquid lipsticks or if you suffer from dry, cracked lips like me.

Unexpected Side Effects

One side effect I didn’t expect was that my lip line actually became really defined.

I’ve always had uneven lips top and bottom, and after using the lip treatment and scrub religiously my lips were starting to get hydrated and I started noticing my lip line extending beyond what nature gave me.

Well, not extending but becoming more defined and more prominent which was a lovely surprise!

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The Millionaire Lip Treatment & Scrub cost £40 altogether and £20 each individually.

They’ve had a repackaging so instead of in tubs, they’re now in tubes.

I’m always so behind with my packaging because all the Millionaire products last so long!

WOULD I RECOMMEND IT?

Since I switched to Organic products made by small businesses last year, I’ve found that they are worth the high price tag because you need only a small amount for a potent result.

It’s been 6 months since I’ve been using the Millionaire Lip Treatment and Lip Scrub.

After the initial 10 days, I eased off to once a week, but in drier climates like this unexpected heatwave and in the winter, I tend to use it every night to help bring moisture back to my lips.

I would say personally, these products have been incredibly beneficial to my lips and my life.

My husband also tends to get bullied into using them when his lips are dry, and you only need to use the tiniest amount to get results.

I would wholeheartedly recommend using the Millionaire Lip Treatment & Lip Butter Scrub!

Please note, I was gifted these products, but all opinions and experiences are my own.

  • The lip butter looks well interesting, and the fact that it can be used for your eyes is so ideal. Less products in my skincare bag aha. The scrub does look too gentle for me (I prefer more harsh ones with an immediate result) but the fact that it is an independent business is a big plus!

Looks can be deceiving. At first, my feedback to Jas was why don’t you make the scrub harsher and she explained that because the skin on lips is so delicate by having a harsher scrub, it can be quite abrasive.

It gets rid of the dead skin cells immediately, and over time, the pigment on the lips starts evening out.

Trust me, the gentle scrub is just what’s needed but you do see results!
